 Május elsejét a hajón "ünnepeltük", eredeti szándékunk az volt, hogy csak a két kant, Maszatot és Hepciást visszük vitorlázni. Aztán megsajnáltam a "csajokat", és inkább lemondtam a vitorlázásról, és mondtam Juditnak, hogy vigyük be a hajóra az összes kutyát, bár még nincs felszerelve a korlátháló, legfeljebb nem vitorlázunk, csak ülünk, szöszölök, felszerelem a hálót, igazából van mit csinálni bóján is.

 A kutyáink nem értenek egyet a vízi sportokkal kapcsolatban: Maszat imád vízre szállni, de nem szeret ott lenni; Hepciás fél vízre szállni, de amikor már ott van, jól érzi magát; Rozi imád hajón aludni, alapvetően pozitív a hozzáállása; Szotyi fél a víztől és tengeribetegségre hajlamos, kocsiban is rendszeresen hányt régebben; Uma pedig még csak tálkában látott vizet, nem tudtuk, hogy fog reagálni.

 A kis csónakban meglepően jól elfértünk a sok cucc és a vizeskanna ellenére is, a hajóra először Judit mászott fel, feladogattam a kutyákat (az összes kutyán és rajtunk is úszást segítő mellény volt), majd a cuccot, és legvégül én másztam át a hajóra.

 Először csak ringatóztunk, pakolásztunk, a kutyák szokták a helyet, hagytuk őket megnyugodni és kiengedni, de ezt meglepő módon Judit unta meg hamarabb és javasolta, hogy csak vitorlázzunk már egyet, ha már itt vagyunk, a körülmények pedig kedvezőek. Mivel a korlátháló még mindig nincs felszerelve, kicsit vonakodtam beleegyezni, de olyan kedvező, barátságos körülmények voltak, hogy tulajdonképpen egyedül is simán el tudtam vezetni a hajót, nem volt szükség Judit segítségére, nem számított, hogy szinte az összes figyelmét lekötötték a kutyák. Azért ragaszkodtam hozzá, hogy mindenki marad mellényben, és bő két óra alatt, egy fordulásból megkerültük a Balaton közepét.

 Talán fél órája voltunk úton, és rajtam kívül már mindenki aludt. Pont, mintha kocsiban ültünk volna. Sajnos amikor mégis ébren voltak, a kutyák nem tartottak eléggé a víztől, nagyon magabiztosan mászkáltak; a fedélzetre nem engedtem fel őket, de a kokpitban önfeledten mozogtak, néha meg is csúsztak, kelleni fog a háló, nem hiába rendeltem meg.

 Eseménytelenül visszaértünk a bójára, molyoltunk, és mindent fordított sorrendben csinálva, visszapakoltunk a csónakba, majd mentünk a partra.

 Meglepően jól sikerült a nap és az első utunk, gondoltam, hogy hamar megszokja a falka a hajózást, de nem is reméltem, hogy ilyen hamar. 

 

 

 We "celebrated" the first of May on the ship, our original intention was to take only the two males, Maszat and Hepciás, to sail. Then I felt sorry for the "girls" and instead gave up sailing and told Judit that we should bring all the dogs on board, even though the railing net is not installed yet, at best we wouldn't sail, we'd just sit, fluff, I would install the net, there was actually something to do also on our mooring.

 Our dogs disagree about water sports: Maszat loves to get onto the water, but he doesn't like to be there; Hepciás is afraid to get onto the water, but once there, he feels good; Rozi loves to sleep on a boat, her attitude is fundamentally positive; Szotyi is afraid of water and prone to seasickness, she used to vomit regularly in the car; and Uma had only seen water in a bowl, we didn't know how she would react.

 We fit surprisingly well in the small tender, despite the amount of stuff and the water jug; Judit climbed on board first, I handed over the dogs (all the dogs and we were wearing life jackets), then the stuff, and finally I climbed onto the boat.

 At first we just rocked and packed, the dogs got used to the place, we let them calm down and ease out, but surprisingly, Judit got bored of that sooner and suggested that we just go sailing once we were there, and the conditions were favorable. Since the railing net is still not installed, I was a little reluctant to agree, but the conditions were so favorable and friendly that I could actually hand the boat smoothly by myself, I didn't need Judit's help, it didn't matter that almost all of her attention was occupied by the dogs. I insisted that everyone stay in their vests, and in just over two hours, we went around the middle of Lake Balaton on one tack there, on the other tack back.

 We had been on the road for maybe half an hour, and everyone but me was already asleep. Just like we were sitting in a car. Unfortunately, when they were still awake, the dogs were not afraid enough of the water, they walked very confidently; I didn't let them on the side deck, but in the cockpit they moved about obliviously, sometimes they even slipped, the net will be needed, I ordered it for a reason.

 We made it back to the mooring uneventfully, messed around and, doing everything in reverse order, packed back into the dinghy and went ashore.

 The day and our first trip went surprisingly well, I thought that the pack would get used to sailing quickly, but I didn't expect it to be so soon.
